Frequently asked questions.

How long does it take to make a set of dice?

After we have discussed exactly what you would like, it takes about 4 days for the dice to ship. Typically that is one day to cast them, two days for the cure to finish, and one day to clean and ink them.

What are my choices for inking the numbers?

Just about anything you can think of. I either have or can blend pretty much any color of ink and the faces can be different colors as well if you want something special for the highest number.

Can you send them in a plain brown package?

Should you wish to have an incognito purchase I’d be happy to include the dice with either a receipt showing they were your set sent for polishing and re-inking (that set? no I’ve had that set forever!), a gift card from a secret admirer (after all, you can’t help it if someone random wants to send you gifts) or simply marked as office supplies.

Why don’t you have pre-made sets on your website?

There are really two reasons for that. First, dice are a very personal thing and I want to make sure you get exactly what you want. Second, I’m always trying to build up stock for the next show I’m doing and most of the dice I make go towards that.

What if the set that comes out is not exactly what I want?

Well, there are times the resin giveth and the resin taketh away. I’ll always send a photo of the set to you before I ink it for final approval and if there is something major wrong with the color or look it can be re-made.

What happens to the set that I had remade?

If I remake a set for you, you will have first call at purchasing the less-then-perfect set, or it will go in my stock to sell at shows.

Can I get a set as a gift?

Of course! Just send me a note and I’ll make it happen.

What if I have a wild idea like putting my cats ashes or a baby tooth in dice?

Bring it on! I love wild ideas.
